Pin-Inspired Printed Paper Card

So happy to use up some printed paper scraps.
My inspiration: "just helen" blog found via Pinterest.
The card base is kraft, the bow is raffia and the stamp is from a set of 4 called Message Circles--
which is becoming one of my favorite sets lately.

Stampfest with Lynette on June 25, 2013

I always have fun stamping with Lynette! Here are the cards and tags we made on Tuesday at her house. Our first card was inspired by Pinterest pinned from Catherine Loves Stamps

These gear cards were made with the Archiver's Everyday Occasions Card kit. We like to up-size the cards to the "standard" 4-1/4" wide x 5-1/2" high card. Used white cardstock for the base.

Our tags were inspired by The Funkie Junkie. Notice we were "inspired" and our tags look nothing like Linda's tag.

Below you can see all of our creations together on Lynette's work table:
Materials used:
Stamps: Tim Holtz, Stampers Anonymous and unknown brands
Inks: Versafine, Distress
6 x 6 pad of Authentique Seasons: Summer
various fibers, including real feathers

Lynette made a delicious lunch of Quinoa salad, the recipe found on Pinterest pined from Livvy's 86 Lemmons.  We also had fresh fruit--don't you love summer foods!

...and here we are at the end of our stamping!
Thanks for visiting!

Pin-Spiration Challenge for April 2013

Lynette, Mary and I started a challenge amongst ourselves to share something we've made that was inspired by Pinterest each week. In addition, we decided to send a card that was Pinterest Inspired to the other two members. We also planned to work on our altered books each month. I have not accomplished that ...yet.

Here is my card, inspired by this Pin: http://pinterest.com/pin/194006696420361661/  I am tempted to use this card as one of my "cards of the week" for the Enjoy Michael Strong Stamps Yahoo Group. As the week progresses, I may use this card twice!

Below is the inside of card:
MATERIALS:
Papers: Stampin' Up' Certainly celery cardstock, Unknown brand of white cardstock with flecks, Old book printed paper
Stamps: Hero Arts, Michael Strong Stamps, Rubber Stampede, Stampers Anonymous
Distress inks: tea dye, spun sugar, worn lipstick
Stampin' Up' Ink: certainly celery
Picket Fence distress stain
Cuttlebug decorative swirly die

Below you can see Lynette's beautiful card:

I will add Mary's contribution when I receive it!
