Lynette and I had a great time stamping and visiting this past Monday, March 21, 2022.
Lynette liked a card I made, similar to the above. I was honored...and happy to bring the supplies for that. She made these two card fronts with Gina K's water droplet stencil and some sequin waste as a stencil.
Inks: Gina K key lime, turquoise sea;
distress abandoned coral
distress abandoned coral
"Hello" and "Happy" stamps and dies from Gina K's Tropical Blooms
Die cut flower and butterfly and matching stencil from GK Fluttering Fall kit.
Lynette and I used my new Gina K's "A Little Love Layering Stencil Bundle" which includes 3 Ruffled Flower stencils. We brushed on Gina's Turquoise Sea and Blue Lagoon for the flower petals. The yellow center is stamped in Gina's Wild Dandelion ink using a tiny round stamp from Gina's A Little Love stamp set. The vines are sponged using the Ruffled Flowers stencils with Gina's Key Lime and Jelly Bean inks.
Lynette found a card like this one on Jenny Engelke's Giddy Stamper blog. We scored a layer of white cardstock at about the 1/2 inch mark. Then we stamped with Gina K's Tropical Blooms and some fern stamps from Lynette's stash. We used Gina K's Wild Lilac Ink, stamping off on the ferns to add a lighter version. For the green ferns we used Gina K's Jelly Bean green.
I was gifted with a huge assortment of Gina K stamps and papers when my friend, Mona S. mailed a treasure box filled with supplies! It was like Christmas when I opened that box! THANK YOU SO MUCH, MONA!!! The guitar is from Gina K: You Have My Heart and the sentiment from Gina's: You Get Me. The flower and vine are Gina's Sketched Flowers. Musical notes from Lynette's stash of stamps! I used colored pencils to add some color to the guitar.
Inks: Gina K's honey mustard, bubblegum pink, jelly bean green.
Here is Lynette in her huge craft room! We always have so much fun when we meet! She made Don and me a wonderful Chili dinner too! Plus we had a nice walk in the neighborhood, enjoying the 72 degrees F weather! THANK YOU, LYNETTE for a wonderful day!
And thanks to my cyber friends for taking the time to visit. Wishing you Peace and All Good!
