July 31 Stampfest

Lynette and I had a great day stamping last Wednesday.
We pulled out the alcohol inks and the glossy paper and had a blast!
Lynette's creations are shown on the top row and mine are below.

We had fun playing with Michael Strong's new Sea Turtle and Seaweed set.
We made an embossed "frame" and placed a piece of our alcohol ink background paper underneath it. Our inspiration came from Heather Holbrook's Craft Gossip, Shelly Schmidt's My Creative Rumblings and Lori Rife's Creative Touches. The sea turtles and sea weed were heat embossed gold then trimmed. Our turtles were then placed as if they were swimming through the seaweed.

Lynette used a  palm tree die and embossing set and we made a beach scene with Mike's Sea Turtle.

I like to take photos of our stampfest because it's so much fun to look back at the great times spent stamping!

What a great day's work... all those glossy alcohol backgrounds look so cool all lined up, and I love the turtle cards - beautifully done. Thanks so much for your visit and comment - greatly appreciated.
