Cards made with Stencil Spritz Layers

Stampfest at Lynette's, August 23, 2022
Lynette and I spent the day together yesterday to visit and do a little stamping! We were inspired by this pretty card on Instagram by cutcolorandcreate. We did not have the beautiful Gina K Zinnia stencil, so we ended up changing the style quite a bit. We always seem to start out with a sample card as a source of ideas.
We tried out Gina K's Stencil Spritz Technique found on YouTube. We used Gina's Water Droplets stencil with Turquoise Sea and Key Lime inks. Lynette's result was better--as you can see on her panels, the top two. We used Lynette's Tim Holtz Stamping platform. I messed up on both of mine!

Stampfest at Lynette's May 4, 2022
Lynette stamped the cake layers with distress antique linen, stacking them like Ceal did. Then she fussy cut the cakes. Lynette used gold embossing powder on the cake plate and fussy cut that
too.
The flowers are from Gina K's Stippled flowers set. I colored them
with colored pencils and fussy cut. The Mr & Mrs and Congratulations are
from the Cake Toppers set and were both stamped in Versafine onyx black and
fussy cut.
Our birthday and anniversary cards were inspired by Debbie Cole Gustafson's card shared on the Gina K Designs & StampTV Friends Facebook Group on April 23, 2022. I am so grateful to her for sharing because I was never sure where to add the flowers! Thanks so much Debbie! I love your arrangement and I hope you don't mind that we CASED your wonderful card!

the happy birthday sentiment from Gina K's Sketched Flowers stamp set.
I stamped the happy anniversary sentiment from Gina K's Stippled
Flowers stamp set.
Using a stamping platform, we arranged the Wild Blossoms leaves stamp and used Gina K jelly bean green ink. We place the flowers stamps on a small acrylic block and stamped with Gina K turquoise sea for the larger flower and Gina K blue lagoon for the smaller flower buds. Again, we used the same placement that Debbie Cole Gustafson used on her card.
Lynette, Don and I had a very nice walk to a local restaurant for lunch. On the way home we walked through a park and enjoyed the tulips and other spring flowers and tree blossoms! Thanks, Lynette for a wonderful day!

Fluttering Fall Butterfly and Flower on Dry Embossed Layer

Stampfest at Lynette's, January 27, 2022
My friend, Lynette and I had a blast stamping last Thursday, Jan. 27. We explored masking and ink blending with brushes. We followed YouTube tutorials as we worked on our cards and layers. We used my new Gina K Friendly Silhouettes stamp set, except for the musical notes background in the first card.
For this card and the six rectangle card below we followed Jennifer McGuire's YouTube, Masked Background Techniques - Easily Achieve Amazing Results! Since we did not have the Gina K masking magic, we used post it notes plus some old post it tape Lynette found in her stash.
Starting at the bottom using blending brushes we applied Gina K turquoise sea ink then lucky clover ink. We did go back and add fresh asparagus at the top, just as in Jennifer's demo.
We stamped a musical notes stamp (from Lynette's stash) with tranquil teal ink. Then we heat set the ink, just as Jennifer suggested. When that was dry we removed all the masking.
We did place a strip of post its on the bottom of the rectangle before stamping with Versafine onyx black using a Gina K Friendly Silhouettes stamp.
We did not have Gina's four rectangle window die to create our masking rectangles. We improvised by masking the area by hand. We used a piece of cardstock measuring 4-1/4 x 5-1/2 inches. I placed this layer on some scrap paper. Then with a ruler, I drew guidelines on the scrap paper to help with placement of our masking.
